Welcome to the Cranbrook Business Association

The Cranbrook Business Association (CBA) is open to all businesses and organisations who are based within a 4 mile radius of Wilsley Pound roundabout, Cranbrook so if you are not already a member please do get in touch. We will also occasionally invite specific businesses or organisations from outside of the core area to join where their membership is considered to be advantageous to the association and the local community.

The Association's aims are to support the local business community and thereby support Cranbrook as a whole including:

  • Promote Cranbrook as a place to live, work and thrive
  • Promote the business interests of members
  • Act as a lobbying voice for members
  • Provide formal and informal business related training/advice
  • Liaise with local authorities on behalf of members
  • Organise and support others organising town centre events

Cranbrook has a vibrant community of largely independent businesses and has so far managed to evade the sort of influx of national chains experienced by many other small towns. This makes Cranbrook a real gem of a town in the heart of the Weald of Kent. If you are considering setting up a business or just looking for somewhere different to shop, have a look at Cranbrook!

Stone Street and its hidden gems!

From Spice at one end to Stoneydales at the other end of Stone Street don't forget to visit the shops at this end of town.

The George Hotel dominates the corner of Stone Street and High Street and then, as the road narrows heading towards Cranbrook's windmill, this is followed by a wide selection of independent shops stocking everything from high quality ladies clothes to toys, butchers, coffee shops, sport, arts & crafts, interior design and much more. And despite the narrow pavements there's still room for an alfresco coffee too, well worth a look!
